First illustrated Spanish edition; two octavo volumes; added engraved title pages in each volume and sixteen full page engravings (eight in each volume); bound in full contemporary parchment over boards with spines stained brown and tooled in gilt contemporary or near-contemporary with red lettering pieces (possibly done by the English collector in 1687 for aesthetic purposes); edges stained red; ex libris Charles Peers with his inscriptions dated 1687 in both volumes; bookplates of Paul Wansbrough; 7 1/8 x 4 3/8 in.
